Last Thursday we had the honour of supporting one of our customer's last wishes; a MINI convoy to escort her to her final resting place.
Deborah James, 37, was a wonderful mother, sister, partner, chairty campaigner and customer of ours for the last ten years. She sadly passed away from bowel cancer on July 27th and due to her love for MINI, she had a wish written in her will to have a MINI convoy at her funeral.

Deborah's family contacted the Wollaston team to ask for support with the convoy as due to the power of social media, it was turning into quite an event! So we put together a team of marshalls who helped to organise the cars on the day.
We were delighted that a total of 42 cars were in the convoy which started off at Northampton Football Ground and escorted Deborah to her final resting place at Northampton Cemerty on Towcester road.
The Wollaston MINI team would like to thank Deb's family and friends for inviting us, also a big thank you to the wonderful people who joined the convoy, Northampton Town Football Club, PCI | TruStyle for the high vis jackets and the officers from Northants Police HQ who helped manage the traffic.
